The Media Cube Scam? One Year Later

One question I get all the time is: is the media cube even legal and is it a scam? A lot of people don’t seem to believe me when I tell them that I can watch pretty much every documentary known to mankind, movies at her still in the theaters, pretty much every television show that’s ever aired, Live pay-per-view, and if I like sports I could watch that too.

Fact is, even top economists like Alan Greenspan will tell you that when the cable companies finally do go belly up there will be a multibillion-dollar hole left in America’s economy when the population does decides to cut the cord. There are going to be the obvious choices of Apple TV, Roku and Google TV but I’ve always been someone her cheers for the underdog. And not only in my cheering on the underdog it’s see year later and I haven’t spent a single penny on any kind of subscription fees, haven’t had that many technical difficulties, and I’ve actually ordered a second one so I have want to keep at my house I want to travel with.

A picture of a real scam artist

So you ask me? Is the media cube a scam? In my humble opinion, I will have to say no. It is anything but a scam, in fact the guys should charge more for the thing. If you got out of calculator intro to add up the price of all the services that you would have to pay for all locked car or in a bundled cable package you would see exactly what I mean.

Like I said, it’s one year later and I’m still sticking with my Media Cube. Check out their Google sites or follow their Pinterest boards to see all of the different movies that they have to watch for free and with no download whatsoever. Oh yes, and on that last note since you aren’t ever downloading a file you are not engaged in bit torrenting or piracy of any kind so watching all of these free movies is 100% legal because streaming media is 100% legal. Technology moves for words it and not backwards folks!

New Media Cube Demo Videos

It looks like the folks in the media queue game are gearing up for the launch of Version to The Media Cube judging by the bunch of new videos that just appeared on their YouTube channel.

This is a pretty exciting development if you don’t want or if you’re a fan of brand like I am. You get so much more for your money that you do with Apple TV or Roku and never those other similar devices. If you would like a little bit more information about it I just found this page where they have a bunch of consumer tutorials where you can compare features with the Roku and decide if it’s right for yourself.

Personally, I love the one I have at my house, my roommate loves it because of the sports fanatic package he’s a real big sports fan. It saves him hundreds of dollars not having to pay for every ultimate fighting event or go out to the bars words crowded and drop a bunch of cash on drinks just to see a fight.

Drugs, Inc.

Drugs, Inc. “Drugs in the Porn Industry”

drugs-inc
I actually got hit up to be the subject of all planned “Drugs in the Porn Industry” show that was supposed to come on Drugs, Inc. I thought about doing it because someone had put me in contact with one of the producers who was looking to know more about how rampant drug use was inside the adult entertainment industry.

For those of you not familiar with the show the show this episode if you never want to do heroin again.

At the end of the day, I decided not to do the show because I didn’t want to attract any all unneeded attention from any of the local Los Angeles law-enforcement types. Not that I am a drug dealer or the typical size strong out criminal treatment typically seen in an episode of drugs Incorporated.

That however it doesn’t make it a bad documentary at all. Faxes, I have gotten plenty of amusement of watching junkies in various towns all across America and the war old for that matter getting there 15 minutes of fame on Drugs Inc. Which I am sure it is subsequently followed up by some kind of a 15 year prison sentence.

Nevertheless, I can tell you that those in the episodes have to be for real because when they came to me asking me to be on the drugs Inc. show they were going to produce about be a toll entertainment Industry they were not out looking for any kind of actors.

It seems like once a year or some producer is looking to do some kind of puff piece on the porn industry just so we can get to hang around with his favorite pornstars.

On the Media Cube you can see every single episode ever made in full HD glory with no commercials by watching either the archived streams or you can even watch new shows with live TV on the Media Cube.

By the way, National Geographic I am still waiting for the big debut of Drugs, Inc. “Inside the Porn Business”.

Do you really think any of these girls are role models for the next youth culture? I think not.

Expect some drugs.

Behind The Music

 Behind the Music: About Anybody

 Behind the Music
Why I I love “Behind the Music”! I can watch that show back to back, about artist after artist and it doesn’t even matter if who they are making the show about is a musician that I give a fuck about are not.

I find myself, “Did I just watch an hour’s worth of Behind the Music: Bay City Rollers ?” Only to answer yourself with, “Yep, I just watched an hour’s worth of documentary footage about the Bay City Rollers!”

VH1 Classic – Behind the Music: Remastered – Rick James from Garrick Stoner on Vimeo.

While not all of them can be as entertaining as the Rick James: Behind The Music.  Dave Chapelle wasn’t the only person as amused with this episode as I was. All VH1 Behind the Music have that same kind of story arc. At first, they were nobody, then they struggled hard, then they became rich and famous, lost it all to **insert vice here***, but now, just as we are making this television show about their life they are making a real come back.

It may not be true for all of them, and even if embellished the way they structured the show makes it entertaining whether you’re a fan of the artist that is being featured in it or not.

I will try to put together some links to YouTube clips from some of my favorite moments from that also show as well as Behind the Music Remastered, which I like even a little bit more because they revisit the original episode a decade or so later and asked “Where Are They Now?”

if you feel like sitting in front of your laptop or iPad you can watch every single episode for free at VH1, but I wouldn’t recommend it because they insert a lot of really awful annoying advertising here..

Or you can have every episode and be kicked back in your letter from enjoying it on your Media Cube!

Who Else Misses “Sunday Entourage Night”?

Entourage Had a Good Run on HBO, and I the Only One Who Misses It?

I have to admit I didn’t watch Entourage for the first few seasons, however living in Hollywood a show like entourage is at least interesting to watch for the fact that you will be seeing a lot of places that were trendy six months ago being a hot spots the guys were at. the show aired from 2004 until 2011. Starring actor Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier) and featuring the antics of his pals pals (Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon)  made for some mighty “Sunday Entourage Nights”.

 entourage the movie
As the show went on, like a lot of other shows like South Park the character development got much better as the seasons went on and characters like Drama, Ari Gold (probably one of my favorite television characters of all time) and even then it’s became more rounded and complex characters that To me watching week after week until the and.

Some Classic Ari Gold…

Like many HBO shows like “The Sopranos“, I wasn’t a big fan of the ending, I thought the shows really peaked when Vance was all messed up on drugs and all the other guys were partying too hard.

Nonetheless, compared to HBO’s car lineup, _excluding the mightily  Mike Judge Directed Silicon Valley) I could take another couple of seasons from the boys and Entourage.

Es an owner of the media cube you can watch every single Entourage show ever recorded from the first time it ever appeared on HBO to win the show finally came through to a close for 100% free and paying absolutely no monthly premium.

Amendment: Just as I was researching this post I see ads that there is going to be an Entourage: The Movie! was I the only person on earth that I didn’t know that there was going to be an E”ntourage: The Movie” or is there some kind of cosmic trick going?

Guess what? As an owner of a Media Cube you will also have access, I will say with almost a 90% certainty to Entourage the movie right on your device and you can stay home and watch it instead of going out to the crowded theaters and as an added caveat: Its free!

The Great Thing About Having An Alternative To Cable TV

media_cube
Ever since I realized that there were alternatives to cable television, my life (As Far As Entertainment Goes) has never been the same. While I know that there are similar products out there such as Roku, Apple TV, Google TV and so forth, let me tell you what makes the Media Cube the superior replacement to your Time Warner, Cox cable or even some of these other replacements for your cable bill.

Check out this demo:

Media Cube from Media Cube on Vimeo.

The big difference between all of the is that the Media Cube has a much bigger library of available programming. I am talking about being able to watch virtually any movie you want, any television show ever created (even from past seasons), live sports, live TV, and every documentary ever made. How can the media cube even do that? Things that sound like they’re too good to be true usually are, right? And the one I get the most is, is the media cube even legal?

Which all are valid questions!

The reason the media cube has so much more content than Roku or some of its competitors who only offer programs and movies that have been out for a while and have outlived their “commercial value” and then they get licensing deals with those companies. If you want to watch premium television shows or even free basic cable shows, they nickel and dime you for it. That will never happen with the Media Cube.

The media cube works on a streaming media platform, meaning we are constantly streaming in new movies and content from all over the world from servers that are set up with gigabytes of free movies, free comedy specials, whole seasons of television programs and the entire catalog of some shows you might want to binge watch such as the Sopranos or Breaking Bad. While you are doing is, you don’t even need to abandon live TV. With the Media Cube you still get all of your favorite cable television stations and you also get a slew more from all around the world that you wouldn’t normally get from your local cable television providers such as Cox cable or Time Warner cable who are a bunch of greedy bastards if you ask my opinion.

Don’t take my advice, go on to the mediates you site and have a chat with one of their live representatives. They can answer all of your questions for you.

Silicon Valley

Watch Every Full Episode of Mike Judges Silicon Valley For Free

Silicon Valley by Mike Judge There isn’t a whole lot of need to talk about Silicon Valley, as it is the hottest and most celebrated show television right now. just two episodes into its second season and look at the number of awards it’s already piled on.

awards to Silicon Valley from industry and critics
Let’s talk about the man who’s behind it and that man is Mike Judge — perhaps the most underrated writer, director and producer of all time.

For those of you who don’t know, Mike Judge was the writer and the voice of both Beavis and Butthead

He is also the man behind King of the Hill and Office Space. He also brought you such awesome films as Idiocracy and Extract, which were both awesome films that were well received by the critics but were sleepers at the box office. Both of these Mike Judge feature films had A-list cast members. I highly suggest you check out Idiocracy.

I love that movie so much I actually want up getting a Brawndo tattoo, which I was able to show to the man himself just a few years ago when I ran into at a bar.

mike judge and i 2012 When he saw the tattoo he loved it and thought I was just going to be some idiot showing him a Beavis & Butthead are King of the Hill tattoo, he was so impressed with it he went to take his iPhone out to take a picture of it and just as he went to snap the picture his iPhone died, so he asked if he could borrow my iPhone and texted the picture to himself. We wound up “bro-ing down” and wound up at some crappy strip club in Hollywood.

It’s movies like Idiocracy and Extract the eye believe someday will really become cult classics because they are just too good to have flown under the radar all of these years. As I understand it, the deal with Idiocracy was it was Mike Judge’s first movie after Office Space and the studios granted him “total artistic freedom”. When he delivered the final version of the film featuring companies that the studios have been taking large sums of cash in the form of product placement, they begrudgingly released the film to the minimum amount of screens and with the smallest advertising budget allowed in the contract. Mike Judge’s punk rock as movie directors go in Hollywood and easily the best one out today. It is good to see him finally getting respect for something more than Beavis and Butthead. Silicon Valley may make enough new fans that I can go back and get caught up in all the awesome films they might’ve missed.

You can watch everything that Mike Judge has ever taken part in on me Media Cube in full-length for 100% free with no monthly charges.

“The Palestinian Chicken” Curb Your Enthusiasm Episode Top Quotes

The Top Qoutes “The Palestinian Chicken” Curb Your Enthusiasm Episode

curb your enthusiasm Palestinian chicken episode

There are so many good quotes from the Palestinian chicken episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, I don’t even really know where to start. The one scene that stood out for me was the “Social Assassin” – even if you watch it out of context it’s still funny.

Larry David took pride in his new moniker as “the social assassin” until he was reminded that he “bungled the hit”.

And then there is the classic, “I am going to fuck the Jew out of you.”

There is this classic witticism from Super Dave Osborne:

I thought about it all last night. If Rabin can break bread with Arafat, I can have chicken at this Anti-Semitic shit hole.
– Funkhouser

Then there is this one in response to request for another social assassination.

“I’m flattered that you considered me for such a delicate assignment but I’m out of that business.”

Which ends with Larry getting his ass handed to him by a 18-year-old girl:

Larry: You really are your mother’s daughter, aren’t you?
Sammy: Yeah. Now get the f*ck out my driveway you bald prick.

Another great one from Super Dave just outside of the Palestinian chicken restaurant…

I thought about it all last night. If Rabin can break bread with Arafat, I can have chicken at this Anti-Semitic shit hole.
– Funkhouser

Larry David on LOL…

You’re saying LOL. You’re verbal texting.
– Larry

On lunch…

I know we have our problems with these people, but man oh man, do they know what they’re doing, chicken wise.
– Larry

On a free lunch…

Eddie: By the way, your lunch is on me.
Larry: I already paid for it.
Eddie: Even better.

On romance…

Shara: I like you.
Larry: What’s not to like.
Shara: Ehh, you’re a Jew.

Those are some of my favorite quotes from the “Palestinian Chicken” episode on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but there were so many good lines in it I am sure there are some I’m forgetting. If you have your own favorite line leave it in the comments and maybe I’ll add it to the blog!

This Episode, like like everything else mentioned in this site is available in full length in streaming with no download from MediaCube.co.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone Take Acid at the Oscars

Dropping LSD at the Oscars With Trey Parker and Matt Stone

South Park creators on acid at the Oscars Check out this video and you will realize there is no way they are just faking the funk….

Here is just another reason to have mad respect for South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They had the unmitigated balls to go to the Oscars when Trey Parker was nominated for “lame Canada” dressed in drag and frying their balls off on LSD. The clip embedded in this blog is from the fascinating Comedy Central documentary about how South Park is created called “Six Days to Air” and how they just finished the “Book of Mormon“.

if you are a huge fan of South Park, like am, “Six Days to Air” is required watching. You can view the whole thing any time you want on your Media Cube.

Monty Python

Watch Every Episode Of Monty Python with No Download For Free

 Monty Python

When when it comes to humor, for me, the all-time heavyweights of comedy of all time is none other than the British comedy troupe Monty Python. Even though the show ended in the early 70s even before I was born, the episodes from Monty Python’s Flying Circus still hold the test of time and still are funnier than some of the movies that they have gone on to spawn.

Just like other American protégés South Park that would calm later, Monty Python’s humor often seemed crude and offensive and loaded with lowbrow far in poop jokes when in fact all of the cast of Monty Python were very well educated and all had college degrees. I believe that some people can’t get into the show because the humor is so highbrow and a lot of the jokes go over there head, and there also might have something to do with a slight generational gap.

The Monty Python comedy troupe is probably better known for their movies in particular “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and “Monty Python” The Life of Brian“. The latter was deemed so heretical by the BBC that they refused to even finish funding the film and that responsibility was taken up by George Harrison from the Beatles.

My whole life I’ve been a complete Monty Python geek, I used to sneak home from nights out with my friends when I was really young so I could catch it on public television when it aired really late at night and if I meet a girl one of the first questions I always ask is do they like Monty Python or I make them watch some of it and if they don’t like it I know that it’s not going to work out. That is how much of a Monty Python fanatic I am, one time I even bumped into Eric idle in the Beverly Center and of over a dozen years of living in Hollywood that was the only time that I’ve been starstruck.

As with everything else on the site you can watch free full episodes of Monty Python with no download or any kind of bit torrent thing because the media cube is 100% legal because we stream the files and you don’t keep them on all hard drives, thereby making you a thief!!
