The Media Cube Scam? One Year Later

One question I get all the time is: is the media cube even legal and is it a scam? A lot of people don’t seem to believe me when I tell them that I can watch pretty much every documentary known to mankind, movies at her still in the theaters, pretty much every television show that’s ever aired, Live pay-per-view, and if I like sports I could watch that too.

Fact is, even top economists like Alan Greenspan will tell you that when the cable companies finally do go belly up there will be a multibillion-dollar hole left in America’s economy when the population does decides to cut the cord. There are going to be the obvious choices of Apple TV, Roku and Google TV but I’ve always been someone her cheers for the underdog. And not only in my cheering on the underdog it’s see year later and I haven’t spent a single penny on any kind of subscription fees, haven’t had that many technical difficulties, and I’ve actually ordered a second one so I have want to keep at my house I want to travel with.

A picture of a real scam artist

So you ask me? Is the media cube a scam? In my humble opinion, I will have to say no. It is anything but a scam, in fact the guys should charge more for the thing. If you got out of calculator intro to add up the price of all the services that you would have to pay for all locked car or in a bundled cable package you would see exactly what I mean.

Like I said, it’s one year later and I’m still sticking with my Media Cube. Check out their Google sites or follow their Pinterest boards to see all of the different movies that they have to watch for free and with no download whatsoever. Oh yes, and on that last note since you aren’t ever downloading a file you are not engaged in bit torrenting or piracy of any kind so watching all of these free movies is 100% legal because streaming media is 100% legal. Technology moves for words it and not backwards folks!

New Media Cube Demo Videos

It looks like the folks in the media queue game are gearing up for the launch of Version to The Media Cube judging by the bunch of new videos that just appeared on their YouTube channel.

This is a pretty exciting development if you don’t want or if you’re a fan of brand like I am. You get so much more for your money that you do with Apple TV or Roku and never those other similar devices. If you would like a little bit more information about it I just found this page where they have a bunch of consumer tutorials where you can compare features with the Roku and decide if it’s right for yourself.

Personally, I love the one I have at my house, my roommate loves it because of the sports fanatic package he’s a real big sports fan. It saves him hundreds of dollars not having to pay for every ultimate fighting event or go out to the bars words crowded and drop a bunch of cash on drinks just to see a fight.

The Great Thing About Having An Alternative To Cable TV

Ever since I realized that there were alternatives to cable television, my life (As Far As Entertainment Goes) has never been the same. While I know that there are similar products out there such as Roku, Apple TV, Google TV and so forth, let me tell you what makes the Media Cube the superior replacement to your Time Warner, Cox cable or even some of these other replacements for your cable bill.

Check out this demo:

Media Cube from Media Cube on Vimeo.

The big difference between all of the is that the Media Cube has a much bigger library of available programming. I am talking about being able to watch virtually any movie you want, any television show ever created (even from past seasons), live sports, live TV, and every documentary ever made. How can the media cube even do that? Things that sound like they’re too good to be true usually are, right? And the one I get the most is, is the media cube even legal?

Which all are valid questions!

The reason the media cube has so much more content than Roku or some of its competitors who only offer programs and movies that have been out for a while and have outlived their “commercial value” and then they get licensing deals with those companies. If you want to watch premium television shows or even free basic cable shows, they nickel and dime you for it. That will never happen with the Media Cube.

The media cube works on a streaming media platform, meaning we are constantly streaming in new movies and content from all over the world from servers that are set up with gigabytes of free movies, free comedy specials, whole seasons of television programs and the entire catalog of some shows you might want to binge watch such as the Sopranos or Breaking Bad. While you are doing is, you don’t even need to abandon live TV. With the Media Cube you still get all of your favorite cable television stations and you also get a slew more from all around the world that you wouldn’t normally get from your local cable television providers such as Cox cable or Time Warner cable who are a bunch of greedy bastards if you ask my opinion.

Don’t take my advice, go on to the mediates you site and have a chat with one of their live representatives. They can answer all of your questions for you.

South Park creators on acid at the Oscars Check out this video and you will realize there is no way they are just faking the funk….

Here is just another reason to have mad respect for South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They had the unmitigated balls to go to the Oscars when Trey Parker was nominated for “lame Canada” dressed in drag and frying their balls off on LSD. The clip embedded in this blog is from the fascinating Comedy Central documentary about how South Park is created called “Six Days to Air” and how they just finished the “Book of Mormon“.

if you are a huge fan of South Park, like am, “Six Days to Air” is required watching. You can view the whole thing any time you want on your Media Cube.

Monty Python

Watch Every Episode Of Monty Python with No Download For Free

 Monty Python

When when it comes to humor, for me, the all-time heavyweights of comedy of all time is none other than the British comedy troupe Monty Python. Even though the show ended in the early 70s even before I was born, the episodes from Monty Python’s Flying Circus still hold the test of time and still are funnier than some of the movies that they have gone on to spawn.

Just like other American protégés South Park that would calm later, Monty Python’s humor often seemed crude and offensive and loaded with lowbrow far in poop jokes when in fact all of the cast of Monty Python were very well educated and all had college degrees. I believe that some people can’t get into the show because the humor is so highbrow and a lot of the jokes go over there head, and there also might have something to do with a slight generational gap.

The Monty Python comedy troupe is probably better known for their movies in particular “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and “Monty Python” The Life of Brian“. The latter was deemed so heretical by the BBC that they refused to even finish funding the film and that responsibility was taken up by George Harrison from the Beatles.

My whole life I’ve been a complete Monty Python geek, I used to sneak home from nights out with my friends when I was really young so I could catch it on public television when it aired really late at night and if I meet a girl one of the first questions I always ask is do they like Monty Python or I make them watch some of it and if they don’t like it I know that it’s not going to work out. That is how much of a Monty Python fanatic I am, one time I even bumped into Eric idle in the Beverly Center and of over a dozen years of living in Hollywood that was the only time that I’ve been starstruck.

As with everything else on the site you can watch free full episodes of Monty Python with no download or any kind of bit torrent thing because the media cube is 100% legal because we stream the files and you don’t keep them on all hard drives, thereby making you a thief!!

How To Get Free HBO

With Media Cube We Will Show You How to Get Free HBO

Do you remember back in the day when you actually had to pay for HBO? Recently the cable companies have, under pressure to stop bundling their packages. the technical meaning of a is you get all of the channels that you don’t really care about or watch for your flat cable rate and then all of the good channels such as HBO and all of the other movie networks are upsells which will cost you extra. Those days are coming to an end. For over and just like the industry you music industry because they had a multitrillion dollar monopoly on what types of entertainment you chose to have in your home.

There is a lot of money on the table the next great cable-television alternative. Of course a lot of people are thinking it is going to be one of the obvious choices such as Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Roku or Google TV the five front runners in this multitrillion dollar gold rush when cable TV finally breathes its last breath and expires.

Check out a sceen shot of Curb Your Enthusiasm from HBO:

season seven the Palestinian chicken of curb your enthusiasm
The great thing about this is there is a sixth alternative that is less talked about and that is the Media Cube. Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Roku or Google TV all have their limitations in being a true leap is meant to cable TV will you get free HBO at all. Because of complicated licensing issues when you start dealing with these larger corporate entities you are really and may as well drive back down to your cable company and get a new DVR that won’t barely hold bought a few hours of programming.

The only thing you really need to worry about when using the media cube device is you have to have a fairly good Internet connection to be able to watch free HBO, but one trick I like to do to help correct some of my buffering issues is to remove my wireless and plug directly into my  LAN.

Lastly, a lot of people a lot of people seem to question whether a device is a seem to question whether a device this awesome is even legal and the answer is YES the Media Cube IS LEGAL!! it is not a bit torrent it relies on streams, so you never have they are simply streamed through the Internet, so there is no worries having Lars Ulrich from Metallica show up at your house with a bunch of lawyers.

10 The Things I Learned After Having A Great Cable Television Alternative

 Cable Television Alternative
Cable Television Alternative

Ever since I got my Media Cube of learned that I’ve been missing out by not allowing myself to have an alternative to cable television which is doing nothing but draining a huge hole in my pocket and not even giving me the entertainment I want.

1. I can have a Star Wars Marathon anytime I want to

2. Goodfellas is definitely the best gangster movie

3. Chris Rock alway had many great moments my favorite is still “Bigger and Blacker”

4. Kill Williams Is a nut bag, but we already knew that. “The Pimp Chronicles” is still probably his finest work.

5. I’m a total nerd, I can’t stop watching all of the great documentaries (too numerous to name) that are available on this thing

6.The Wolf of Wall Street, is how I should’ve lived my life (minus the end part)

7. American Sniper was pretty good, but then again I’m a sucker for anything by Clint Eastwood, especially if it’s a war movie.

8. Did I mention in number five that I’m a total dork?

9. There is so much free movies, TV programs, sports, kids shows, documentaries and shows from cable television’s all over the world my lousy cable company doesn’t pickup its ridiculous.

10. I need to clone myself to have time to really enjoy this great alternative to cable TV

Star Wars

Watch Every Single Star Wars Movie for Free

Don’t act like this hasn’t happened to you before. You call home and they are showing a Star Wars movie marathon. That means they are starting with the original Star Wars from 1977 (which is technically episode four) and are going to keep playing all the classic Star Wars films up to the air return of the Jedi. Then they will start with the later movies from the late 1990s and play all those all the way to the end. I never was a huge fan of all of the second wave of Star Wars films, in particularly the first one (“Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace“) — which I saw the night after serving almost a year in prison and still was disappointed. One thing you can never go wrong with is the princes Leah metal bikini scene from (Return of the Jedi) — which I have been nice to put up a link to the video from YouTube below.

What the point of my whole post here is is that any day can be a Star Wars marathon where you watch all of the six existing episodes from back-to-back in release your inner dork he is if you have a Media Cube. There is no need to wait for it to come on cable, sit through any commercials, or not be able to leave the house and do a few errands right in the middle of watching all three movies in a row.

Now that’s what I call the future of entertainment.

Watch Every Episode Of Nova From PBS

One of my favorite documentary programs is Nova by PBS. Sometimes the show can be a bit of a sleeper, but when they get on to good subjects such as the classic “Rise of the Drones” (FULL EPISODE) they can’t be stopped.

With subjects of varying from “Escape from Nazi Alcatraz” to “The World’s First Computer” (a device found in the late 60s on a sunken Greek cargo ship and then later revisited by famous explorer Jacques Cousteau) Even when they have subject matter that is not so much to my taste the execution from the show’s production staff is always so good they can always make you think about something.

One thing I never wondered about was how this show have been running in straight seasons since 1974. And people thought The Simpsons were all long-running show. LOL

I guess not being on the Fox network and not having to pander to advertisers gives PBS’s “Nova” a unique and nu-corrupted by advertiser dollars perspective on a variety of interesting subjects mostly encompassing science and history.
